Cycle4Care, an indoor cycling event to raise funds for cancer support services in Maine, will be held on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 39 and 31, at the Finley Recreation Center, Portland campus of the University of New England. A Cancer Community Center event, Cycle4Care involves over 100 bikes during 12 hours on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Participants pay an entry fee to cycle for one, two or more hours on stationary bikes donated by local gyms and businesses. Event participants can ride solo, with a friend or as a team. The success of Cycle4Care depends on the fundraising done by each rider. To learn more, visit CancerCommunityCenter.org or call the center at 774-2200.
