PORTLAND (AP) — Portland officials said authorities in Minneapolis, Minn., have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the murder of a city resident in 2014.
A local U.S Marshals Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Abdirahman Haji-Hassan on Dec. 19. He is charged with being a fugitive from justice in connection with the killing of Richard Lobor on Nov. 21 of last year. Police have said the killing occurred at an apartment in the city.
Portland officials said Haji-Hassan has waived extradition and arrangements are being made to transport him back to Maine. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.
