1929 – 2014
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Patricia Anita Rowland (Tasker) died at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn., on Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the age of 85.
She was born in Dixfield on Jan. 29, 1929, to Walter and Thelma Tasker. She graduated from Dixfield High School in 1947.
Pat lived in Boston, Mass., Arizona, California and Tennessee over the years, but Dixfield was always her beloved hometown.
Patricia was married to Alfred Selhay from 1959 to 1969. She married Milton Rowland in 1975, and after living in California, they returned to Dixfield in 1992, to live until his passing in 1997. Spring Hill, Tenn., has been her home for the past five years, where she enjoyed spending time with her big, extended family.
Patricia is survived by her brother, Walter J. Tasker and wife, Janet; uncle, Thomas H. Tasker and wife, Beverly; niece, Joy Pillen; stepdaughter, Deanna Carlsen; stepsons, Dean Selhay and Dennis J. Rowland; and nephews, cousins, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and many caring and loving friends.
