AUBURN — Funeral services celebrating the life of Janis Sylvester were held Saturday, Jan. 3, at Christ Temple Church of God in Christ.

Elder Albert Jackson Sr. officiated the service and the expeditor was Elder Charles Warren Sr. The Old Testament Scripture was read by Deacon Antoine Walton and the New Testament Scripture was read by Carrie Hull-Chandler.

A reception of fellowship was held in the church hall. Arrangements were by Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home.
