BETHEL — Cameron Pike knocked down eight 3-pointers and scored 31 points as Telstar (4-6) ditched Lisbon with a 59-58 victory in a hard-fought boys’ basketball game Monday.

The Greyhounds (3-7) led 25-24 at the half before the Rebels reeled off 37 points in the second half.

For Lisbon, Ti Joseph and John Yinn each scored 12 points, while Jonah Sautter scored 10 points.

Girls’ basketball

Lisbon 47, Telstar 25

BETHEL — Jasmin Le scored 16 points and teammates Mia Durgin and Mikayla Yanez each had 11 as Lisbon (2-7) thumped Telstar (0-9) with a 47-25 win in a girls’ basketball game Monday.

The Greyhounds held a 25-15 lead by halftime before pulling away in the second half.

For Lisbon, Becca Howard scored 16 points in dropped in four 3-pointers.

Dirigo 85 Wiscasset 36

WISCASSET — Jessica Conant paced the Dirigo Cougars with 28 points to a 85-36 victory over the Wiscasset Wolverines in girls’ basketball action. She also had six rebounds and seven steals.

There was three other Dirigo (8-0) players in double digits. Kelsey Hutchins had 18 points, Lauren Henderson dropped in 13 points and Emma Lueders finished the contest with 12 points.

Hutchins had eight rounds while Lueders finished the game with 10 assists and six rebounds.

The Wolverines (3-7) were led by Alecia Faulkingham, who ended the game with 11 points.

Mountain Valley 58, Mt. Abram 18

RUMFORD — The Mountain Valley Falcons had a balance attack in their 58-18 victory over the Mt. Abram Roadrunners in girls’ basketball action.

Liza White and Emily Laubauskas which had nine points as Mountain Valley improves to 5-4 on the season. Tori Ryerson had eight points in the victory.

Mt. Abram’s (0-8) leading scorer was Olivia Ryan who had five points.

Monmouth 33, St. Dom’s 22

AUBURN — The Monmouth Mustangs outlasted the St. Dominic Academy Saints 33-22 in girls’ basketball action Monday night.

The Mustangs (7-2) were led by Sidney Wilson who had 11 points. Tia Day and Bri Gonzalez chipped in with five points each.

Faith Grady scored 16 points to lead the Saints (1-6) in scoring.

Girls’ hockey

St. Dom’s 3, Mt. Ararat 1

BRUNSWICK — Jessica Boulet scored two goals and Kim Johnson picked up an assist as St. Dom’s (4-5) waltzed past Mt. Ararat with a 3-0 victory in a girls’ hockey game Monday.

Alexa Kesaris scored the third goal unassisted in the third period to top off the Saints’ victory. St. Dom’s goalie Payton Winslow made 20 saves to earn the win.

Boys’ hockey

St. Dom’s 11, Mt. Ararat/Lisbon 0

BRUNSWICK — The St. Dominic Academy Saints scored all 11 goals in their 11-0 win over Mt. Ararat in boys’ hockey action Monday night at Sid Watson Arena.

Dillion Pratt and Brad Berube each had two goals and three assists to lead the Saints (4-1-1). Noah Toussaint and Austin Roy also had two goals. Kenton Ernst, Cooper Richard and Adam Poulin rounded out the scoring.

Alex Michaud stopped all 10 shots he faced to earn the shutout. John Roux and Parker Lacey combined to make 40 saves in the losing effort.
