LEWISTON — Ronald E. Fox, 77, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully Monday morning, Jan. 5.

He was born in Auburn, a son of Oscar L. and Fanita (Proctor) Fox.

Ronnie, otherwise known to many as Foxy, lived his life to the fullest and was a very social person. He was of the old school and knew that if a person worked hard in life, they would prosper. Foxy began working at a very young age as a paperboy.

He attended Lewiston public schools and after high school, he entered the U.S Air Force from 1958 to 1961. After the military, he married Georgette Rancourt in 1963, and had a daughter, Kelly.

Foxy began his career at Lewiston Welding and ended his career as a car salesman. He worked for Thrifty (Emerson) Toyota for 42 years and sold over 10,000 vehicles. It seemed as though everyone knew Foxy and everyone bought their car from Foxy. He had countless repeat customers over his career. The family would like to thank the Emerson family for their dedication to Ronnie and their support of him over the years.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Judy Fox; daughter, Kelly and husband, Scott; and stepchildren, Stephen Belleau and wife, Eileen, Kim Parker and husband, Robert, and James Belleau and wife, Rebecca. Foxy also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Nicholas, Casey, Alex, Lauren, Maggie, James II, Michael, Anna, Ellie, Megan and Erin; a great-grandchild, Christopher; his beloved dog, Molly; four brothers, Larry, John, Russell and Gerald; and one sister, Janice.

Foxy was predeceased by his brother, Richard Fox; sister, Sandra Goodwin; and daughter, Julianna.
