1937 – 2015

AUBURN — Annette T. Perry, 77, of Hancock Street in Rumford, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Rumford on Sept. 1, 1937, a daughter of Herman and Bertha (St. Pierre) Murphy, and graduated from Stephens High School in Rumford, Class of 1957.

She was employed as a waitress and bartender for many years. She then worked at Parker-Nichols in Portland as a machinist from 1987 until 2003, when she retired.

Annette was a communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church, and a member of Le Paresseux Snowshoe Club. She enjoyed playing cribbage and skip-bo with her family and friends, had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. She loved to dance, especially the jitterbug, and cook, especially with her daughters.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Murphy and companion, William Berube, of Carrabassett Valley, Terri Pierce and husband, Richard, of Industry and Jodi Labbe and companion, James Davis, of Bolivia, N.C.; a son, David Perry, of Rumford; seven grandchildren, Emma Berube of Carrabassett Valley, Caitlin Pierce, Logan and Brandon Dudley, all of Industry, Cori Chapman of Bolivia, N.C., Cari Vess of Little River, S.C., and Casi Chapman-Williams of Bolivia, N.C.; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Donna LeBlanc and husband, Joe, of West Peru.

She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Rosie Fournier; a brother, Edward Murphy; and her son, Dwayne Bernard.
