1912 – 2015
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — Corinne A. Duperre of Doylestown, Pa., passed away peacefully at her home on New Year’s Day 2015. She was 102.
Born in Quebec, Canada, on April 23, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Geidon and Celina Jalbert.
Corinne volunteered at Doylestown Senior Citizens for several years. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and especially enjoyed breakfast with her many friends at the Loyal Order of the Moose after Sunday services.
Before moving to Doylestown, Pa., she was a member of the Rosary Sodality at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lewiston. She also volunteered many years at St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store and was an avid pinochle player.
Corinne is survived by her daughter, Pauline Charpentier; grandchildren, Cristi and Peter (Karen); great-grandchildren, Lauren and Ryan Charpentier; dear friend, Mimi Volker; and many loving nieces and nephews in Maine and New Hampshire, and friends in Arizona and California.
She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio Duperre; and eight siblings.
