1947 – 2015
RUMFORD — Timothy C. Perry, 68, of Grandview Circle in Mexico, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Rumford Hospital, following a long illness.
He was born in Rumford on Jan. 3, 1947, a son of Robert and Mina (Judkins) Perry. Tim was educated in Mexico schools and was a graduate of Mexico High School, Class of 1965.
He held a variety of jobs throughout his life: He worked a short time for Boise Cascade, as a history teacher at Mexico High School, as a home builder and as a boiler-welding inspector for Longview Inspection Company.
Tim loved hiking and was a member of the Mile High Club. He also loved fishing, hunting, being outdoors, a good game of cribbage and NASCAR racing, and was a Dallas Cowboys fan. Most of all, Tim loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his children, Marybeth Perry of Dixfield and Lori Perry and companion, Nicholas Taylor, of Dixfield; his former wife, Patricia Lavorgna, of Mexico; a sister, Linda Howe and husband, Allen, of Bethel; brothers, Paul Judkins, Dexter Perry and wife, Cindy, of Mexico, Jeffrey Perry and wife, Sharon, of Rumford, Mike Judkins and David Judkins; four grandchildren, Ian Austin, Caleb Austin, Ella Wedge and Leah Francis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; two sons, Erik and Jason Perry; and a grandson, Wyatt Wedge.
