LEWISTON — Maine Turnpike Exit 80 southbound will be closed again after it was reopened Wednesday morning.

The exit was closed after a tractor-trailer hit a concrete barrier on Interstate 95 near the exit Tuesday night. It reopened Wednesday morning.

But transportation crews plan to close the southbound exit ramp at 1 p.m. Wednesday to replace the concrete barrier. Work is expected to last a couple hours.

Traffic is being advised to exit the Turnpike at Exit 75 in Auburn or Exit 86 in Sabattus.

Update: Maine Turnpike Exit 80 southbound is now open to traffic.
