FARMINGTON — The internal medicine practice of David Rice, M.D., in Farmington announces the addition of mental health services at the office located at 107 Box Shop Hill.

Psychiatric nurse practitioner Penn Whiteside, PMHNP-BC, has joined the practice and is now offering outpatient appointments, including psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adults. Whiteside joins David Huish, PA-C, in providing adult medical care and Susan Eastler, WHCNP-BC, who provides women’s care at the practice.

A graduate of the nursing program of the University of Southern Maine with a master’s degree, Whiteside holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from UMF, as well as a master’s degree in German language and literature from Purdue University.

He resides with his wife and children in the Farmington area.
