VFW Post 9150 to meet Tuesday
LEWISTON — The Longley-Dionne VFW Post 9150 will hold their monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the Lewiston Armory on Central Avenue.
All officers and members are encouraged to attend.
The meeting is changed to Tuesday due to the holiday on Monday.

Copy paper sought for preschool
AUBURN — The Auburn United Methodist Church will be collecting reams of 8 1/2 by 11 copy paper for the preschool this month.

Bean supper Jan. 24 at Auburn UMC
AUBURN — A ?UMC bean supper will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Auburn United Methodist Church, 439 Park Ave.
The menu includes baked beans, casseroles, potato salad, hot dogs, coleslaw, breads, beverage and pie. The cost is $7.
Entertainment will be provided by the Park Street Pickers.
Boiler operator course starts Feb. 2
AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services department at Central Maine Community College will offer a High Pressure Boiler Operator course on Mondays, Feb. 2 through April 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. The cost is $475 and includes all materials and books.
Registration deadline is Jan. 26.
The course offers a practical approach to power plant operation and is designed to prepare the student for the state of Maine High Pressure Boiler Operator licensing exam.

Penguins Snowmobile Club meeting
DURHAM — The Tri-Town Penguins Snowmobile Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Durham Fire Station, 615 Hallowell Road.
The club, which serves Durham, Freeport and Pownal, meets on the last Tuesday of each month from September to April.
New members are always welcome.
