The Center for Wisdoms Women has been given a matching challenge. A donor has offered $15,000 to the center if it raises that same amount. As of Dec. 23, the center had about $4,000 more to go. The $15,000 match will be marked for capital expenses as the center explores the possibility of expanding toward offering a long-term residential recovery program for women survivors of addiction, prostitution, prison or other traumas.
