First Auburn Seniors meet Wednesday
AUBURN — The First Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21.
A spaghetti and meatball lunch and bingo will follow the meeting.
Thirty members attended the Jan. 7 meeting.
Attendance winners were Marilyn Redmun and Donald Nason; pot of gold winners, Marilyn Redmun, Irene Fraser, Nancy Duprey; 50/50 winners, Barbara Willis, Ruth Saucier, Nancy Roy.
Resume writing workshop in Lisbon
LISBON FALLS — The Lisbon Career Development Center rings in the New Year by offering the residents of Lisbon a resume writing workshop from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Lisbon Falls Community Library, located in lower level.
Whether you are currently unemployed, or just looking for a fresh start, this free workshop will help to redesign your resume, and give it a fresh look for the New Year. If you have a current resume, please bring it to the workshop for review.

Marine Corps League Detachment
LEWISTON — Marine Corps League Detachment 810 will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Holy Cross Church on Lisbon Street.
All Marines are welcome. The group meets on the last Thursday of every month, except in November and December.
The meetings are held in the basement; enter on the left side of the church where a Marine flag will be visible by the entrance.

Sabattus Seniors to meet Feb. 5
SABATTUS — Sabattus Seniors will have their next meeting on Feb. 5. The meal is beef stew. RSVP by calling Pauline at 375-4037 to sign up or cancel. Deadline for signing up or cancelling is Jan. 29. If you do not show up for a meal and you have not cancelled in advance you will have to pay for it.
If a meeting is cancelled because of inclement weather the meal and meeting will be cancelled if there is no school in Sabattus. Notification will be announced on Channel 6.
According to club by-laws all dues have to be paid up in order to qualify for meals, voting, 50-50 or door prizes.
On the agenda for this meeting is a change to the current by-laws to eliminate the paid up lifetime membership for those reaching 80 years of age.

As a reminder meeting will start at 1:15 or when the kitchen work has been completed. therefore if you plan to attend the meeting only be sure to be there by 1 p.m.
Music boosters plan bean supper
LISBON FALLS — Lisbon Music Boosters Association will hold a community bean supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in the Philip W. Sugg Middle School Cafeteria, 4 Sugg Drive.
Cost is $4 for children 10 and under; $7 for adults. All proceed support the LMBA Summer Music Camp Scholarship Fund.
