FREEPORT — A month-long festival celebrating the vibrancy and depth of cultural arts in Freeport: Freeport FebFest will be held at various locations in February. This moveable feast of Freeport art—visual, literary, performing, culinary, and fine—spotlights painting, photography, theater, film, music, poetry, prose, food, and more at venues around town.
Freeport Players Managing/Artistic Director Elizabeth Guffey said, “February is a quiet month in terms of entertainment, but also a time when we really need to get out of the house. It seemed like a perfect time for the arts community to make a splash.”
The FebFest calendar is already full of great events from Freeport Players, MASISTA, Pine Tree Academy, LL Bean, Freeport Library, Freeport High School students, Greater Freeport Community Chorus, Art Guild of Freeport, and FreeportUSA with more events in the works.
