RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Ivan E. Arsenault, of Rumford, was celebrated Tuesday morning at the Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as the celebrant. Bernard Poirier was the altar assistant. Mark Belanger was the organist. Musical selections were “Hosea,” “Because the Lord Is My Shepherd,” “On Eagles Wings” and “Like A Shepherd.” Wayne and Rachel Valliere presented the readings. Words of remembrance were given by Tyler Arsenault. The Last Call Fireman’s Bell was by Rumford Fire Chief Robert Chase and Deputy Chief Ben Byam. The U.S. Navy provided the military honors. A reception, catered by the Daughters of Isabella, was held in the church hall. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader and Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
