NORWAY — Most Nordic courses in Maine were impacted by the rain and warm temperatures this week, some worse than others.

At Roberts Farm in Norway there is still a great base on the competition field and on 90 percent of the trails.

This week two multi-school events will be held at Roberts Farm due to conditions elsewhere. The annual Sunny Croft Farm sprint races scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, have been relocated to Roberts Farm Preserve.

Parking along Roberts Road will be tight and community members will not be able to access the hut or ski trails from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.

Also unscheduled, and back by popular demand: Sarah Carter will offer a skate ski clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 25, at Roberts Farm Preserve. Cost is $10. Please bring your own skate skis or rent them from Carters X-C Ski in Oxford the day ahead.
