AUBURN — James P. Zinchuk, 59, of Oxford, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, at the Hospice House.
He was born in East Brunswick, N.J., on March 13, 1955, a son of Peter and Thelma M. Barrett Zinchuk. He graduated from high school in New Jersey and attended trade school in Vermont. He married Roberta Brown on June 22, 1992.
James had been employed as a painter in the finishing department at Keiser Industries. He enjoyed painting, wallcovering, working with leather and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta, of Oxford; his father, Peter and wife, Anne, of Spotswood, N.J.; his sisters, Anne Mallory and husband, Allen, of West Paris and Sharon Walsh and husband, Donald, of Wilmington, N.C.; a brother, Douglas and wife, Robin, of Bethel; and nephews, Jacob Mallory and Daniel B., Brian, Kevin and Matthew Zinchuk.
He was predeceased by his mother.
