MEXICO — A federal grant for community policing and lighting improvements at the Recreation Building are among the items on Tuesday’s agenda for selectmen.

The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Town Office.

The town received a three-year Community Oriented Police Services grant of $156,071 in September 2013 to pay for an officer’s wages. The terms stipulated the town would pay the officer’s salary in the fourth year.

The board will also consider improving the lighting at the Recreation Building.

Other items on the agenda inculde:

* A pawnbrokers’ license renewal for the Mexico Trading Post.

* A discussion of National Incident Management System compliance training.

* A discussion on Maine Municipal Bond Bank application deadline.
