1943 – 2015

LEWISTON — John B. Tempesta Jr., 71, of Athens, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 21, after a long illness at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion.

John was born on July 17, 1943, in Lewiston, a son of the late John B. and Marie (Bosse) Tempesta Sr.

He was a member of the U.S. Air Force, working in the medical field while serving.

John is survived by his significant other, Katie Corcoran; and his step-daughter, Mackenzie. He also leaves a brother, Paul Tempesta; a sister, Suzanne Tempesta; as well as two nieces, Samantha Wilkerson and her three children and Ashley Nickerson.
