LIMERICK (AP) — The York County Sheriff’s Office said a Limerick man is expected to face more charges in what authorities are calling a firewood scam.
Thirty-year-old Justin Nichols is accused of collecting money from people for firewood he sold mostly through Craigslist but failing to deliver the cut and split wood.
The sheriff’s office said since reporting his arrest on Friday in one case, 11 other people have come forward with similar complaints.
Nichols is charged with one count of theft by deception. Authorities said he is also facing previous charges for allegedly scamming two other firewood clients.
It was not immediately known if he is being represented by a lawyer.
