1947 – 2015
FARMINGTON — Mildred J. Pond Enman, 67, of Farmington, died Thursday, Jan. 22, at Sandy River Nursing and Rehab Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mildred was born on June 19, 1947, the youngest child of Harvey and Elva (Johndro) Pond. She graduated from Mount Blue High School and worked at various shoe shops, including Bass Shoe and Franklin Shoe, and at times also worked as a certified nurse’s aide.
Mildred had a great sense of humor and took pleasure in many things in life. She was an animal lover and enjoyed watching television and reading books. She was a social person who enjoyed playing dominoes with a group of ladies as well as taking shopping adventures. Above all, she enjoyed the company of her family, especially at family functions.
She is survived by her son, Harold Enman and his fiancée, Mindy Thomas, of Livermore Falls; a grandson, Zack Enman; a sister, Doris Drake of Nevada; several nieces and nephews, Sonya Pond, Jill Savage and her husband, Eric, Theresa Iverson and her husband, Jed, all from Farmington and Rhonda Bickford and husband, Gary, Sherry Hallett and her husband, Earl, from Las Vegas, and Harold Small Jr., from Auburn.
She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Sonny, Delmar, Linwood and Thomas Pond.
