JAY — A Mass of Christian Burial for Diane Castonguay Gould was celebrated Friday, Jan. 23, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay.

The Rev. Joseph Daniels directed the Mass. Musical selections by organist David Dubois and the Resurrection Choir were “Blessed They Are,” “J’irai la voir,” “The Prayer of St. Francis,” “Mary’s Song,” “On Eagles’ Wings,” “Here I Am Lord” and “Psalm 23.” The first reading was by Sarah Dubois and the second reading was by Laura Dubois; Laura also read the Prayer of the Faithful. Abigail Castonguay and Emma Dubois presented the gifts, and the altar servers were Amanda Castonguay and Nathan Dubois. The eulogy was given by the Rev. Roger Cousineau.

Pallbearers were Robert, Leo, Gerry and Arthur Castonguay, Jeff Gould and Tom Wing. Interment will be held in the spring at Holy Cross Cemetery in Livermore Falls.
