JAY — Selectpersons gave the green light to Town Manager Shiloh LaFreniere on Monday night to develop a photo contest for the cover of the town report for the year ending June 30, 2014.
Every year the staff goes through “what should we put on the cover of the report,” LaFreniere told the board.
She suggested they hold a contest to get photos related to the town.
The contest will be open to the public and students in Regional School Unit 73 schools, she said. It could be open to the photography class or the students in general.
The photos could be of scenery, events or anything related to Jay, she said.
The photos could be used for the cover and additional photos could be used throughout the report, she said.
Once the contest is established, LaFreniere will make a public announcement. know.
