1941 – 2015

TURNER — Nancy M. L’Italien died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 23, at her home.

She was born in Grand Isle on Dec. 21, 1941, a daughter of Leo and Lucille L’Italien. She was a hard worker all of her life. She worked at Eastland Shoe, Little Joe’s and Mailhot Sausage.

She enjoyed playing cards and gambling with her ladies and watching her shows.

Survivors include her children, Jackie and Dean Cheche, Paul Blouin, Pauline Blouin and Robert Blouin; the father of her children, Arthur Blouin; siblings, Richard L’Italien, Robert and Pauline L’Italien, Leola and Rick Webster and Gary L’Italien; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Doris Bade; and siblings, Reggie L’Italien, Janey L’Italien and Donald L’Italien.

You will be forever in our hearts. May you rest in peace with your daughter.
