1925 – 2015

AUBURN — Cecile V. (Beaulieu) Tozier, 89, passed away Monday, Jan. 26, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Auburn on Oct. 21, 1925, a daughter of the late Ludger and Alma (Saindon) Beaulieu. She was educated at St. Louis School. On Aug. 3, 1946, she married Stanley Milford Tozier Jr., and remained his loving, caring wife until his death on Sept. 22, 1977.

She worked for at least 25 years at Shapiro Shoe, retiring at age 65 from General Electric, where she worked a machine stamper.

Mom adored her two great-grandchildren, spending every second she could with them. She loved to travel, which included many road trips to Florida. She was an avid football fan, watching any game she could, but she had a special affection for the Patriots. She attended daily Mass and prayed the rosary often.

In her earlier years, she worked outside to have a perfectly manicured lawn. She even climbed a ladder to paint windows to maintain the beauty of her house on South Main Street. She did all this until the day she sold her beloved home.
