JAY — Nomination papers for selectpersons and Regional School Unit 73 directors will be available Monday, Feb. 2, at the Town Office.
There are two three-year terms to be filled for the Board of Selectpersons. Steve McCourt and Pearl Cook currently hold the positions.
Two three-year terms are also open for the RSU 73 board. Darcie Calden and Michael Morrell hold those positions.
The papers are due at the Town Office by 4 p.m. on Monday, March 16.
The town has moved to an April 28 town meeting referendum. It will be held the same day as the validation vote on the RSU 73 budget.
Selectpersons, Budget Committee members and town department heads will hold their first joint municipal budget workshop at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at the Town Office. No budget has been drafted at this time.
