1964 – 2015

LEWISTON — Paul Myrand, 50, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 26, at his home.

He was born on Sept. 19, 1964, to the late G. Daniel and Mary (Moore) Myrand, and he attended Lewiston schools.

He loved fishing, gardening, music and woodworking.

He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Vellaro-Starbird of Hebron; three brothers, David Myrand and wife, Celina, of Quezon City, Philippines, Daniel Myrand and wife, Susan, of Greene and William Myrand and wife, Laura, of Leeds; five sisters, Julia Atchley and husband, Tom, of Knoxville, Tenn., Patrice Gagne and husband, Daniel, of Lewiston, Mary “BeBe” Fortin and husband, Louis, of Greene, Clare Brewer and husband, Scott, of Leeds and Joan Garant and husband, Raymond, of Lewiston. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, as well as two stepbrothers, David and Denis Lessard; three stepsisters, Priscilla LeBrun, Claire Gagne and Joanne Albert; and special friends, Jodi, Pete, Ron and Larry. He was also the brother-in-law of the late Lucille Myrand and the uncle of the late Renee Myrand.
