LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Holy Family Church on Saturday, Jan. 31, for Robert J. Begin.

The Rev. Aaron Damboise officiated and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors Program. The bearers were Ryan, Emma and Matthew Begin, Roger Bosse, Leo Carrier and Roger Grondin, and great-grandson Anthony Begin was the flag bearer.

The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by great-grandchildren, Ryan, Emma, Matthew and Anthony Begin. The celebration of Robert’s life continued at a reception at the Ramada Inn.
