1940 – 2015
AUBURN — Margaret A. Wright, 74, a resident of Durham, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Feb. 2, at the Hospice House, after a brief illness.
Born in Auburn on Nov. 14, 1940, she was a daughter of Emile and Marguerite (Flynn) Theriault. Educated in Auburn schools, she was married to Donald Audet on Oct. 25, 1958; he passed away on Oct. 19, 1992. She later married Frank Wright.
Margaret enjoyed reading, gardening and her pets, and playing badminton, playing cards, dominoes, Scrabble and word puzzles. She also enjoyed knitting and donated knitted mittens to local schools. She supported many charities that protect animals, wildlife and the environment.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed family gatherings and special luncheons with her daughters, granddaughters, sisters and nieces.
Survivors include her husband, Frank; two sons, Thomas Audet and his wife, Judy, and Jonathan Audet; three daughters, Susan Walden, Pamela Morency and Judy Mosqueda and her husband, Larry; five granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a sister, Irene Beaulieu.
In addition to her parents and first husband, she was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph, Harvey, Maurice and Normand; and three sisters, Claire Keene, Jean Libby and Grace Mercier.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff at the Hospice House in Auburn for the compassion they showed Margaret and her family.
