WELD — The wedding of Alexa Dayle Smith and Craig Ray Jackman was held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 2 at Proctor Gardens in Weld. Robert “Bob” Pratt, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Jackman is the daughter of Warren and Angela Smith of Livermore Falls. Mr. Jackman is the son of Spencer and Penny Jackman of East Livermore.

The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with beads, sweetheart neckline and chapel train.

Josie Leadbetter, best friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Berry, friend of the bride, Carolyn Holman, cousin of the bride, and Megan Ricker, sister of the bridegroom. Gabrielle Gagnon, daughter of the friends of the couple, was flower girl.

Serving as best man for his brother was Kent Jackman. Groomsmen were Tom Gagnon, Mike Nichols and Rory Young, friends of the bridegroom. Ushers were Tucker and Garret Smith, brothers of the bride. Ring bearer was Thomas Ricker, nephew of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the home of the parents of the bridegroom. The couple is residing in Livermore.

The bride is employed as a medical assistant at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center and plans to graduate from the nursing program at the Maine College of Health Professions in May.

The bridegroom is a 2010 graduate of Eastern Maine Community College diesel truck and heavy equipment program and is employed as a diesel mechanic for A. Hood and Son/Splash Trucking in Turner.
