1945 – 2015

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Vickie Ruel, 69, passed away after a sudden illness on Wednesday, Feb. 4, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Johnson) Beck and was born in Rumford, where she was also raised and educated.

In her life, her family was paramount. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Vickie loved knitting and crocheting and playing computer games.

She leaves behind her husband, Michael Ruel of Manchester; her daughters, Beth (husband, Walter) Pieberl of Manchester, N.H., and Diane (husband, Norman) Michaud of Londonderry, N.H.; her son, Benton (wife, Lizz) Monk of Goffstown; her grandchildren, Dillan, Emily, Nicholas, Sarah, Sierra, Mason, Allycia and Michael; her great-grandchildren, Natalie and Lacey; her sister, Kathy Beck of Rumford; and many nieces, nephews and very good friends who will miss her very much.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was predeceased by her brothers, Richard Beck and Ralph Beck; and her sister, Roberta Beck.
