LEWISTON — Sylvia Desrochers, 75, of Lewiston, died Sunday, Feb. 8, at Central Maine Medical Center, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Augusta on Dec. 4, 1939, to parents Joseph Eugene and Katherine Dostie.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Desrochers; her puppy, Princess; a sister, Joan Achorn and her husband, Randy; four children, Cheryl Gagnon, Sherry Michaud and her husband, Steve, Linda Witherall and Richard Witherall; eight grandchildren, Mindy Gagnon, Jeffrey Bright, Sylvia Gagnon, Carly Carlile, Stephen Michaud, Devon Carlile, Skylar Michaud and Bryce Witherall; and two great-granddaughters, Lilah and Aubriana Bright.

Sylvia was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Katherine Dostie; and her beloved dog, Theresa.
