1922 – 2015

LEWISTON — Madlyn J. Maheux, 92, formerly of 14 Ventura St., Lewiston, died Wednesday, Feb. 4, at d’Youville Pavilion.

Born in Lisbon on May 23, 1922, she was a daughter of Alexander and Yvonne LaChance Roy. Educated in local schools, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School. She worked at Bates Manufacturing for many years in the payroll department.

A member of Holy Cross Church, Prince of Peace Parish, she is survived by a stepdaughter, Nancy Maheux-Boucher, of Sebring, Fla.; a brother, Richard Roy, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and a sister, Gabby Roy, of Massachusetts.

She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Roy.

Madlyn was a snowmobile enthusiast, loved to cross-country ski, was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time at her camp in Eustis.

She was thankful for the care she received from the 3 West staff at d’Youville Pavilion.
