JAY — Town officials invited residents and nonresidents to submit photos depicting Jay for consideration on the front cover of the 2014 town report.

Officials will welcome all images that celebrate Jay. Photos can be of people, places, scenes, buildings or nature shots. They may be in color or black and white, and may be modern or historic. The deadline to enter the contest is 4 p.m. March 13.

Besides the front cover, photos could be included within the report and added to the photo collection on the town’s website.

If digital photos are submitted, they need to be in .jpg format and either emailed as an attachment to Town Manager Shiloh LaFreniere at [email protected] or saved on a CD and mailed or delivered to the Jay Town Office at 340 Main St., Jay, ME 04239.

Photos of people should include photo-release permissions.

All submissions must include a caption for the photograph and the name, address and phone number of the person entitled to receive the photo credit.

The photos must not infringe on copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
