DIXFIELD — The wedding of Meredith Starbard Skibitsky and Timothy Jon Falso was held on Oct. 18 at the Helen Hills Chapel at Smith College in Northampton, Mass. The wedding was officiated by the Rev. John Gensel of the Dixfield Congregational Church.
Mrs. Falso is the daughter of Eugene and Leslie Skibitsky of Dixfield. Mr. Falso is the son of Frank and Valerie Falso of Fayetteville, N.Y.
The bride wore a vintage style champagne satin gown with crystal embellishments and carried a bouquet of hydrangea, purple and green succulent accents with orange berries.
Leslie Skibitsky, mother of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Matson, Emily Plante, Katia Littrell, Leigh Ackal, Brittany Dorn and Mary Beam.
Frank Falso, father of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Andy Falso, Kevin Dente, Brandon Decoff, Marshall Keener, Brad Demers and Matt Walters.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Hotel Northampton, after which the couple honeymooned in Mexico.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono and Smith College, earning a master’s degree in deaf education, and Fontbonne University with a master’s in speech pathology. She is currently employed as a pediatric speech therapist in Windham.
The bridegroom graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in business and is employed at Grover Gundrilling in Oxford.
