1936 – 2015
LEWISTON — Marilyn L. Trundy, 78, of Mechanic Falls, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 14, 1936, the daughter of John and Louise (Bickford) Lovely, and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1955. Marilyn ran her own child care business for many years in Mechanic Falls.
She married Ellsworth Trundy on Dec. 26, 1993; he passed away on Dec. 6, 2003.
She enjoyed going for rides — especially up north to Wilson’s Mills, NASCAR, cats, bird-watching and spending time with her children. She also looked forward to going to Bailey Island. Marilyn was known as a very positive person in every way.
Surviving are her two sons, David Jenkins and his wife, Linda, of Mechanic Falls and Ken Jenkins and his companion, Carolyn, of Mechanic Falls; three daughters, Cindi Emery and her husband, Barry, of Poland, Lisa Jenkins and her companion, Lee Nickerson, of Oxford and Brenda Summers and her companion, Kevin Gagne, of Poland; a brother, Richard Boclair of Westbrook; nine grandchildren, including a special grandson, Jacob Pelletier; 10 great-grandchildren; and three special friends, Mary Lou Rowe, Winnie Belville and Donna Edwards.
Besides her husband, Marilyn was predeceased by a brother, James Lovely.
