1928 – 2015

FARMINGTON — Patricia “Patsy” Page, 87, of Rangeley, died peacefully at Sandy River Rehabilitation Center on Valentine’s Day 2015.

Patsy was born in Ridley Park, Pa., on Feb. 13, 1928, a daughter of Rodman Wanamaker and Elsa (Hennicke) Edmiston. In her youth, Patsy was an avid equestrienne fox hunter and competed in point-to-points in and around Pennsylvania.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Roger Ordway Page; they met in Stowe, Vt., and were married on June 18, 1949. Roger and Patsy moved to Kingfield (Sugarloaf Mountain) in 1957, and then to Rangeley (Saddleback Mountain) in 1959.

Patsy was co-owner and manager of the Roger Page Ski Shops on the mountain and in town, from 1959 until 2001.

Patsy is survived by her daughters Karen Page Hawksley of Rangeley and Bettina Page Cloutier of Kent, Conn.; and four grandchildren, Patrick Garrison Hawksley of Park City, Utah, Christina Page Hawksley of Rangeley, Jean-Marc Edmiston Cloutier of Santa Monica Calif., and Alexina Cloutier Carey of Ipswich, Mass.
