LEWISTON — A snowstorm forecast to bring about 6 inches to the area led to the implementation of city-wide parking bans in Lewiston and Auburn beginning Saturday night into Sunday.
According to a Saturday press release by Deputy City Administrator Phil Nadeau, Lewiston’s ban will go into effect at 10pm on Saturday and extend to 11am on Sunday.

A notification from Auburn’s Deputy Police Chief Jason Moen said that city’s ban is scheduled to begin at midnight and end by 8 a.m. All vehicles found in violation will be towed immediately, according to Moen’s statement.
