WILTON — A memorial funeral service for Clayton C. LaPlant was celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 21, at Wiles Remembrance Center in Wilton.

Family and friends gathered an hour prior to the service beginning at 11:30 a.m. The service was officiated by Clayton’s nephew, the Rev. Bruce Bryant from Good Shepherd’s Cove in Arundel.

Heartfelt remembrances were given by his daughter-in-law, Vicki LaPlant, and military honors were provided by the Maine Funeral Honors program.

Following services, all were invited to a comfort reception with refreshments offered at the funeral home.
