RUMFORD — The Teaberry Arts Council will host an art show from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, during Black Mountain’s annual Winterfest Weekend, member Liz Murphy said Tuesday evening.
The Winterfest Weekend is a three-day celebration at Black Mountain that aims to bring the community together. Murphy said the Teaberry Arts Council was invited to set up a booth where artists can showcase their work.
Council member Barbara Radmore said artists who have work they would like to showcase Friday evening are welcome to contact the council through its Facebook page.
“The biggest thing we need is artists who want to set up their art at the show,” Radmore said.
According to its Facebook page, The Teaberry Arts Council is an art group attempting to “create an organized and diverse artistic culture in Western Maine’s foothill communities by uniting current and future groups concerned with visual and performing arts.”
