1958 – 2015

LITCHFIELD — Curtis W. Orlasky, 56, of Litchfield, died Monday, Feb. 23, at his home.

He was born Dec. 17, 1958, to Peter and Eleanor Orlasky in Long Branch, N.J., and he grew up in Matawan, N.J.

Curtis loved nature and outdoor activities, such as hiking, canoeing, kayaking and going to his and Anne’s camp outside of Lee. He was also an avid fisherman.

He worked in the collections departments of various financial institutions.

Curtis is survived by his longtime partner, Anne Hazelton; his parents; his sister, Linda Orlasky; his brother-in-law, Robert Smith; his nieces, Emma and Sophie, all of North Carolina; and stepdaughters, Vanessa Bliss and Jennifer Bliss.
