I was quite saddened to read the article (Feb. 27) about a young man who wants to run for the office of mayor of Lewiston. He wants his campaign to be kicked off at the B-Street Community Center.
That is not the way to start a campaign, to my way of thinking. To me, that means he is interested only in the downtown part of Lewiston. A mayor had to be interested in the whole of Lewiston.
Sorry, Ben Chin. I’m for Bob Macdonald — he works for the whole of Lewiston.
Judy Baird, Lewiston
