SOUTH PORTLAND — Dr. Rodney Voisine, MD, a member of the CMMC staff, was recently certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, the first such physician certified in that specialty south of Bangor.

Certification as a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine signifies excellence in the practice of obesity medicine and distinguishes a physician as having achieved a high level of competency and understanding in obesity care.

Voisine served as medical director-perioperative services at Central Maine Medical Center and as president of Anesthesia Associates of Lewiston-Auburn before founding Anew10 Physician-Supervised Weight Loss and Wellness in early 2014.
