AUBURN — The Androscoggin Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network invites members, guests and the general public to its next meeting, starting promptly with lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn. Katherine Lord, a certified risk management consultant, will provide training on how businesses can use conflict resolution to reduce operating expenses.
Lord will explain crucial conflict management skills, including dealing with anger and using the agreement frame. Learning how to effectively deal with conflict is important for every organization, no matter what the size. If it is left unchecked or not resolved, it can lead to lost production, absences, attrition, and even lawsuits.
The cost is $17 for members and $21 for non-members and includes everything. Nonmembers are always welcome. Members are encouraged to register their guests in advance for the member rate. Online pre-registration is required by March 10. Register online at www.mainewomensnetwork.com by clicking on the “Event Registration” link.
