1941 – 2015

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — Brenda Kay (Morrell) Swett, 73, of Poland, died Monday, March 2, in Brooksville, Fla.

She was born in Lewiston on May 7, 1941, and graduated from Mechanics Falls High School in 1959.

As a member of Auburn Baptist Church for more than 20 years, she was diligent in serving the Lord and spreading the Gospel to everyone with whom she came in contact. Her ministries included working in the nursery and as a seamstress for her church family.

Because of her faithfulness and love for Christ, every one of her children, grandchildren, and even some of her great-grandchildren are now saved and faithfully serving the Lord.

She graduated from Pelletier Beauty School and was a stylist for many friends and family. She worked as a lunchroom aide in the many schools her children attended.

She was married to the love of her life, Charlie, for 54 years. She followed him to various naval bases around the world.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Lois Morrell; and sister, Mary Jones.

She is survived by her husband, Charlie Swett; one brother, Eugene Morrell (wife, Stacy) of Coolidge, Ariz.; three daughters, Anna Smith (husband, Tom) of Minot, Pamela Bryant (husband, Ryan) of Sabattus and Katherine Iler (husband, Jeff) of Lewiston. She has eight grandchildren; Sarah Smith Caron, Krystal Loucka Bray, David Johnson, Tristan Johnson, Heather Johnson, Katie Smith, Chris (Andy) Johnson, Jacob Lemm; and 12 great-grandchildren.
