AUBURN — Plans are under way for the eighth annual dinner of the Central Maine Community College Education Foundation. This year’s event will be held Wednesday, April 15, at the Hilton Garden Inn/Auburn Riverwatch.

The mission of the CM Foundation is to provide financial support to the college and its students; to advocate on behalf of the college; to nurture relationships with the community and constituencies.

It is governed by a volunteer board of directors comprised of prominent business and community leaders. The Foundation Board also serves as the college’s Education Advisory Council, providing an important forum for matters that have a broad impact on the college.
