CHESTERVILLE — Voters have two selectmen races to decide at the polls from 1 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 9, at the Town Office.
Incumbent William Hastings and Paul Caldwell are vying for a three-year term on the board. Incumbent Scott Gray and Patricia Hastings are seeking election to a one-year term.
Residents will take up the remaining 43 articles at the annual town meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 23, at the Town Office.
Voters will be asked to consider authorizing selectmen to change the annual town meeting from a Monday night to a Saturday at 1 p.m. Voting would be the preceding Thursday, from 1 to 7 p.m.
If approved, the change would go into effect in 2016.
