NORTHPORT — The wedding of Emily Adele Geismar and Phillip Hall Murphy was held on July 27 at Point Lookout in Northport. Perry Scachetti, uncle of the bridegroom, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Murphy is the daughter of John and Susan Geismar of Minot. Mr. Murphy is the son of Reginald and Cheryl Murphy of Merritt Island, Fla.

Anna Geismar was maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Pamela Hanafi and Tsveta Stanilova, friends of the bride.

Douglas Murphy served as best man for his brother. Ushers were James and Bradley Geismar, brothers of the bride.

A reception followed at Point Lookout, after which the couple traveled to St. John, Virgin Islands. They are residing in Waltham, Mass.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Hebron Academy and a 2006 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a degree in economics. She received a master’s degree in 2011 from Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass. She is currently employed as a senior business analyst for Addias Group in Canton, Mass.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Lexington High School and a 2001 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University in 2011. He received a master’s degree in 2011 from Babson College. He is currently employed as vice president of commercial credit at Eastern Bank in Lynn, Mass.
