1954 – 2015

LIVERMORE — Michael J. Keene, 60, passed away Friday, March 6, at his residence on Norlands Road with his family and caregiver by his side after a short battle with cancer.

Michael was born Dec. 12, 1954, in Farmington, the son of Lloyd and Annie (Akers) Keene. He graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1974.

He most recently worked at Moark Farms in Turner. He enjoyed watching car racing and many outdoor sports.

He is survived by his children, Kelly, Michael Jr., John, Tanya, Cassandra, Kyle, Stephen and Thomas; brothers, Robert Frost his wife, Sharon, Brian Keene and his wife Jane, Charlie Keene his companion, Barbara, and Roger Keene his wife, Joanne; sisters, Joanne Leighton and husband, Elwood, Donna Davis and husband, David, and Laurie Benjamin; also a special Aunt Hazel; and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was predeceased by his sister, Vicki Hyde; and a special niece, Danielle Ranger.

A special thank-you to his caregiver and friend, Carolyn, for the wonderful care he received while in her home, also to Kimberly, his nurse from Androscoggin Home Care.
